About Wake County
Wake is the largest county in the Research Triangle Region of North Carolina, and is home to Raleigh, North Carolina's state capital. For the past 15 years, we have been one of the fastest growing communities in the US. In fact, Wake County averages almost 100 new residents everyday.
With that said, Wake County has much more to offer than just urban living. In fact, many people choose to locate in some of our smaller communities where they are able to find homes on large lots, and peace and quiet without losing access to more urban amenities.
