Carl Zeiss Optronics to Locate Corporate HQ to Wake County
Carl Zeiss Optronics USA, LLC has announced that they will establish their US headquarters in Wake County to support a current naval contract and an anticipated contract with the navy. In their initial phase, the company will hire 5 employees and have leased office space in Wake Forest.

As a business entity of the Carl Zeiss Group based in Germany, Carl Zeiss Optronics has more than 100 years of experience in military optics into techno- logically high-quality solutions and products for internal and external security.
Wake County Economic Development worked with many partners on this project including the Town of Wake Forest, Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP), N.C. State University, North Carolina Military Business Center, North Carolina Military Foundation and the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
