Governor and Mayor Celebrate The Dillon with Kane Realty

17-story mixed-use project launches with party

(Raleigh, NC – January 13, 2016) Governor Pat McCrory and Mayor Nancy McFarlane joined Kane Realty & Federal Capital Partners to celebrate The Dillon, the Warehouse District’s new mixed-use development, last night. The event was held at the site of the old Dillon Supply Company Warehouse.

Nearly 400 guests celebrated with a launch party and final glimpse of the old Dillon. Warehouse district neighbors including Tuscan Blu, The Pit, Humble Pie, Fiction Kitchen, Crank Arm Brewing, Tasty Beverage Co., and North Street Beer Station and several local artists helped celebrate the new project along with Wake County Commissioner Sig Hutchinson, Wake County Commissioner Matt Calabria, Councilor Dickie Thompson, Councilor Corey D. Branch, Councilor Kay Crowder, and Councilor Bonner Gaylord.

The Dillon will be over 215,000 SF of Class-A office space, 260 apartments, covered parking, along with retail and restaurants along the ground floor. The project will make up 2.5-acre city block and sit across from the future Union Station. The Dillon Office’s innovative design will incorporate the character and design elements of the historic Dillon Supply building, while providing state-of-the-art, efficient workspace. Demolition will begin in the coming weeks.

Kane Realty recently opened The Stanhope (mixed-use student housing adjacent to N.C.
